CREST CHARITABLE TRUST works for providing awareness & services for the basic Health Care to the deprived & needy people in it’s working areas. Health awareness is one of the activities which organization conducts since it’s establishment. A brief picture of health related activities could be seen as follows:
Health Education & Health Talks
There are 25 health workers are trained to educate community people on various health issues. They are well trained to deal with the common illness and health needs of the beneficiaries. They play very instrumental role in creating awareness and dealing with basic health issues. Apart from organizing community meetings health workers have been doing home visits also. They reach to the doorstep of the beneficiaries. They cover 20-25 families daily to educate them on basic health issues and hygiene related matters.
Health workers also organize health talks in their respective communities. They cover various health issues related to general health, maternal & child health, hygiene, eye care, importance of breast-feeding, sexual transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS.
Area of Work
- A general health check-up camp was organized in Slums near Karkardooma courts, BSES Office, Police Station and many other locations in East Delhi every month in Regular basis.
- Free mandatory Blood test and check-ups of patients.
- Free Consultancy & Medicine Distribution.

- To check Anemia (Hb % less than 9gm%) and to give dietary and personal hygiene advice to the population.
- Anemia found in 25 i.e. 52% of which 18(72%) were women.
- Reason was Inadequate gap between children , poor dietary intake of iron and worms infestation.
- Patients were advised to take inexpensive sources of iron such as jaggary and chana and given Deworming advice and also contraception advise.
